two days ago I was taking my wife to Mubarak Hospital, and after looking for a parking spot for about 10 minuets, I found up there on the roof, Then I spotted that selfish guy who reserved two parking spots for his car to keep it under the shades away of the sun!

Historical? Really?

The Photo above were taken from a gathering time at the historical cars museum.

Thats why the reporter of the article thought that this car is historical as the photo caption says: The crowd watching a historical car!!

My point is: this is cars event, why the newspaper are not sending some professional reporters who are related to cars and automotive activities instead of sending just a photographer and a camera man?

And how about the article writer? didn't he mention that its a Lamborghini Murcielago 2011?

During the last weeks I was browsing the local blogs, and spotted they were blogging and reviewing that new sandwich from Burger King.
So I went to try it myself. and my quick short review is:
I didn't feel the chicken taste or even the cheese taste. and the sandwich is very small.
I wish I know I know the reason behind all those fake reviews. What for? for a free meal?

I am gonna miss Friday Morning rides, as long as the summer just started and the heat will hit the country here, so most of us will go for night rides.

Last year when I was a new biker I was waking up 05:00 AM and riding till 08:00 AM maximum.

I don't know if I am gonna do that again this year or no.

A Day with the US Military

I spent a wonderful Day with the USA Military troops in Kuwait at Camp Arifjan.
The day was like an open day with a lot of motorcycles group from around Kuwait, Also the old muscles cars club were there.

The day was full of activities, Live Bands and give aways from both sides (Kuwait Riders & Military's)

It was a great day, Thanks to the Military and thanks Kuwait Riders

Finally: No Smoking at The Avenues

Finally the smoking is going to be prohibited inside The Avenues Mall starting from January 2011
and they will add some smoking corners in the basements beside the parking lots.

I hope they can manage it.

people are still smoking inside the mall.

And I didnt see any "No Smoking" signs inside the malls.

People are smoking at the restaurants, Cafe Shops and everywhere else.

Some things I hate about the parking lot of 360 Mall, which is the capacity.

Other thing that when you park your car, you can't find any signs to tell you the raw or the line number same like the Avenues or anywhere else, just G1 or G2 and you guess the rest :) or keep searching for your car.

They should add more parking areas and they should assign the raws/lines numbers.

26 Years old artist, B.A. Fine Arts / Animation from New York & Diploma in Fine Art & Photography from Limkokwing University of creative arts in Malaysia, Experience in Al Watan TV. As an Animator & currently an Art Teacher, teaching IGCSE Arts.
Jordanian born & raised in Kuwait started painting when 12 years old in school & found his talents when he decided to do his IGCSE Arts.

Most work done on oil canvas, mastered it in school when taught by British artist as he was doing his IGCSE, and has been exposed by different artist where he gathered his style as in teaching in art school Malaysia, New York, and school artist, then developed his own artisit, One of his favorite artist, Salvador Dali & tries to implement Salvador style in a lot of his work work , his work speaks out very dramatic and dark deep emotions.

I have been always thinking of getting a Harley Bike but I don't know know what was the reason of not getting one.
Suddenly started again to think about it, because its not just a bike, it is a life style.
Driving in a slow safe way, enjoying the road and the view, having fun with the gang of HOG.
and costuming the bike is going to be more than fun till I reach the final look what I am looking for.
Finally I took the decision and I am getting one SOON.
But its gonna be parked for a while till I finish my riding classes and get my riding license.

Animal Friends on Fire

Just got that mail from Animal Friends:

Animal Friends suffered an electrical fire on Thursday. We are very relieved and happy to say that no one was hurt and all animals are safe and unscathed. The fire effected our staff building that also houses our laundry room and storage room. The building is badly damaged and will need extensive repairs. Also four of our staff lost everything except the clothes on their back and we lost most of the animal bedding that was in the laundry room. Below is a list of items we need. We desperately need your help to be able to recover from this unfortunate incident.

Well, the last 3 days I spent em at the Kuwait International Rally 2010, It was a perfect experience being there, getting very close to that sport for the first time, getting to know the rules the cars and the whole thing.
Such a perfect experience.
also had that chance to shoot a lot of perfect pictures for the Cars, Drivers, people and the whole event.

I dont know what to write or what to talk about at this point
But I do believe in right now that its not about football and it is not about taking a revenge.
It is about politics because
Where is the Algerian foreign minister to talk or to give any information about what is happening.
Why are they kicking out all the Egyptians out of their homes in Algeria and steeling their furniture and stopped all the flights from/to Cairo??
Why the hell they burned the Holy Bible??
How did they enter Sudan with their Swords and all the white weapons??
A lot of Whys over here ... I am speechless for the time being.
And people started to add their own video clips and talking in a very rude way about Egyptian ladies and about the Egyptian history.
I am not that loyal ... but this is really silly.

A week ago I just started a new hobby which is the photography, I have been interested from a long time but it has been a long time using a normal digital camera.
I just got my Nikon D60 and 18-105mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens. I just noticed its not that easy but I am working out to figure it out, So I am holding the camera and practicing all the time to find out the best results.

I am back from a long vacation, spent a very good times with wife, family and best friends.
Went to Cairo, Dahab-Sinai, Alexandria, North Coast, Madrid & Ibiza.
Back, Charged but actually not charged for work, I don't know what is wrong with my mood.
Heading tomorrow to the office and lets see then what is waiting for me.

Driving in Cairo

Just started my annual vacation in Cairo, and also started my second experience of driving in Cairo,
these items below are not available when you drive here:

Mirrors - no body looks in the mirrors before doing anything.
Lanes - people are driving between lanes, if its available.
Traffic lights - it is almost YELLOW and flashing all the time.
Right or left signals - use your hands and drop it out of your window to inform the car behind you that you are going left, and asking my wife to use her hand if we are about to go right.
Using your horn all the time with no reasons.

And you should take care of:
Car in the front
Car in the back
Car on right
Car on left
Bikes
People crossing the road everywhere and leaning on that every car has a break
Dirty dusty & broken roads.

I was walking with my dog yesterday at Marina Crescent then I found a lost dog there trying to find anyone to play with, the dog was very sick, tired, hungry and liquid saliva coming out from his mouth because of his empty stomach, and no collar on his neck, I offered him water, food and I took him to the Vet, got 3 shots there (Antivirus & Vitamins) .. and now he is here at my home, I called Animal Friends but I am not sure that I am gonna leave that guy. I am keeping him with me.

But I dont know whats wrong with these dogs owners?
If you cant take care of you dog, just dont get one, it is not a toy for your kids and it is not a security guard.

People should get some training and courses about dogs before buying or adopting.

bader qabazard a kuwaiti national born in 1961. got his bachelor of arts degree in motion pictures and photography at brooks institute. santa barbara, california. since his return to the gulf in 1991, bader has worked as an agency producer with impact/bbdo based in dubai regional headquarters serving all their clients and working on projects throughout the region and in europe. in 1994 he was taken on in a full time capacity by star tv operating as a producer and director for channel [V] where he became the first gcc national to become directly responsible for over 270 hours of music programming for a major international network. in 1998 he becamethe executive producer and director for the disney channel middle east. when it comes to digital artwork
bader started in 1998 when he installed photoshop into his computer. he started by experimenting with photos taking through out the years. slowly he developed his own technique and style. since then he participated in many international group exhibitions in the gulf region
till 2004 he made his first solo exhibition. at the moment he is working with al watan tv as
head of creative department to date bader has won 7 international awards for his
tv and advertising work.
